Dan'l Webster Inn

The Dan'l Webster Inn (often mistakenly referred to as the Daniel Webster Inn) has offered Cape Cod lodging in the center of the Cape's oldest town for over 300 years.

Visiting couples can enjoy all the romance of the past coupled with such modern day conveniences as oversized whirlpool tubs, a swimming pool, heated tile floors and wireless internet connections throughout.

This is a large inn by Cape Cod standards, with 48 rooms each individually appointed with its own unique charms.

Take the Robert Tobey Suite, for instance, with its working fireplace and baby grand piano, or the Dan'l Webster Suite, with its king-sized bed, marble bath and a two-person walk-in Jacuzzi.

In addition to the inn, the Dan'l Webster is a locally renowned restaurant comprised of several distinct dining rooms. The Conservatory Room, is light and airy, with its many potted plants, twinkling lights and sunny atmosphere. They serve a terrific brunch on Sundays thet we used to frequent quite a lot.

The Music Room is more sedate, with pine paneling, a fireplace, and a grand piano.

We've been to weddings in the Heritage Room, which is often used for private parties and functions, and the Tavern offers casual fare, even though its décor seems more formal, with its wood paneling and original English Colonial style.
