1750 Inn at Sandwich CenterBuilt in 1750, the 1750 Inn at Sandwich Center is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and is perfectly located right in the center of town, just across the street from the Sandwich Glass Museum (from the steps of which we took this photograph). It is just short walk from the historical Town Hall Square, Shawme Duck Pond and all of Sandwich's many museums, attractions and restaurants, including Heritage Plantation, the beaches of Cape Cod Bay and Sandwich's famous boardwalk. The five guest rooms are beautifully restored and described as casual but elegant, with plenty of period piece antiques. Several have working fireplaces, some have TV and DVD players and all have modern private baths. A continental homemade breakfast is served daily, as well as complimentary cold drinks and tea and coffee throughout the day. Wi-Fi internet access is also available throughout the inn.
