Sweetwater ForestLocated right next to Snow's Pond in Brewster, Sweetwater Forest Campgound offers quick and easy access to the beaches and Cape Cod Rail Trail. Brewster is a great town, lots of antiques, a few good restaurants, and the famous Brewster Flats, where you can walk for miles when the tide goes out.
The campground has 250 good sized campsites, with a separate section for tent campers. As with most of Cape Cod Campgrounds, sites aren't huge but each one does have a fire pit and picnic table. Free showers are available on site - a plus in our book since making sure you have enough quarters and feeding them can be a huge pain. Some campers have complained about the facilities but when we stayed there, they were clean. If you bring your dog, they do have air conditioned kennels but they aren't staffed during the day so you if are heading to dog friendly areas - like Provincetown, skip the kennel and take the pet along with you. Be aware, though, that most, if not all beaches prohibit dogs during the high season (usually defined as Memorial Day to Labor Day).
