White Wind InnBilling itself as “A Provincetown Landmark,” the White Wind Inn is a stately Victorian mansion that has been owned by Michael Valenti and Rob Tosner since 1998. It was built by a prosperous shipbuilder in 1854 and now offers 12 beautiful and unique rooms, all furnished with beautiful antiques, and each featuring a private bath. The inn manages to maintain the beauty of the original building while adding modern amenities, such as wi-fi, air conditioning and cable TV, that provide guests with all the modern comforts of home. Some rooms have fireplaces, jacuzzis, balconies and water views. The central location on Commercial Street is right in the heart of town and the front porch provides a wonderful vantage point for guests to enjoy cocktails, conversation, people watching and even the occasional porch party. The “Great Room” is a communal area with fireplace and grand piano where guests can relax, visit with friends or just hang out. A delicious breakfast is served each morning and the coffee is said to be the best in town.
