Woods Hole PassageWithin walking distance of both bay and ocean beaches (nice warm water in the summer), and just half a mile from Spohr Gardens it's well situated for exploring not just the Upper Cape but also Martha's Vineyard. The Shining Sea Bikeway is close by and bikes are available for guests to borrow at no charge if they want to explore. You can easily ride to both Woods Hole and downtown Falmouth from there, and maybe even take a bike over to Martha's Vineyard if you don't want the hassle of taking the car. Breakfast is a real treat, often served on the patio if weather permits, though it is served from 8:30-9:30am, which may be a tad late if you're catching an early ferry. The huge common room has a picture window that looks out onto the garden and a library full of bird and garden books. And you can't help but feel right at home as you lounge there on one of the many couches and chairs. Hosts Deb and Lee are gracious, friendly and accommodating, and can give you all kinds of tips on things to do, places to visit and recommended local restaurants.
